January 15, I said classes were manageable and at that time, I was thinking ... "sus, piece of cake!! kayang kaya!" Hayufffffff ... today, I got a taste of the real nursing ... we were doing clinicals. We were assigned patients. Haaaay. My gashhhhh, the paperwork, the stuff to remember, to stuff to do, the stuff to not do, the stuff to say, the stuff not to say .. my gulay!! Nakakawindang!! Natuturete na ko!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I am very tired. I haven't stood or walked or ran that much since ... uhm, I cannot even remember.

It's my birthday on the 19th of Feb!

Well, I don't really have the luxury to go online and make a formal list so I am doing this list from my phone (I love my blackberry!)

But before the list, here's a brief update.

- I am IN the nursing program and currently in the 2nd week. - On Saturday, we will be assigned patients to really take care of. I'm excited and scared at the same time.
- I still work in the same company, same position.
- In a fun situation..exciting which means there's that "fear factor" lol. It's scary most of the time but that's what makes it unique. ;)
- I will be living a semi-bachelorette (is this the right spelling?) life. Well, not really bachelorette but sorta juz coz my bro is going back home to study so I'm gonna have the apt to myself.

That's all the update I could think of. Let me start the bday list. I won't be posting pics with it though coz I am not on my comp, I'm on my phone.

Things I like:
- Plane ticket home (right......I know nobody will get me this, LOL)
- Battery for my laptop
- Watch a Broadway show
- Bluetooth headset (though there's 85% chance of me misplacing it so maybe getting this is not really a good idea)
- Accessories (like earrings, necklace, ring, anklet for summer pa naman ung anklet) ... I like silver o kaya white gold stuff.. As far as shape goes, I like hearts
- DVDs..I like sci-fi stuff..mystery thriller..movies that will boggle the mind and make me think and analyze..those with a good twist
- A bag for my stethoscope (I have one now but eh, that's my make up bag..since I don't use make up, I just used the bag for my stethoscope)
- Victoria's secret boy shorts M (so comfy!!)
- Fun, fun, fun (haha)
- Coats and boots (you may refer to old posts for these.. ¤=P )

Well, I can't think of anything else. But, I do like pleasant surprises. ;) the list I made has a huge range..take ur pick. It's just stuff I like. Lol. Pero, keep in mind that I would rather get a sincere heartfelt greeting than an object that you forced yourself to buy. Material things whither and can break, but fun fond memories will be with us always.

Oh my gashhhhhh..I'm gonna be a quarter century old! Anyway, time to sleep for me so, ciao!

A week before school

Classes start on the 12th. Haaaay. MIA na naman ako when school comes.

Last night, we had a girls night out. Actually, minus Micay coz she had work last night. But it was fun. The food was good, the drinks were bad. I bolded some stuff that I think are interesting.

Anyway, I'd give this movie a 8. It was an interesting movie just because it was very different from the usual mainstream movie shown in theaters. It tackled issues that are not openly discussed (probably because the movie is from a different country). The movie is more drama and life issues than suspense so if you're looking for a heart pumping adrenaline rush kind of movie, this is not it. It's laid back but interesting. I liked the way that everything worked out in the end. Those who got hurt in the beginning because they were with either a player, someone going for the younger generation, gay, unsure about her orientation, just want to play, etc ... ended up with someone who either set them right, made them realize what they really want, understood the game they want to play, etc. So, it's kinda nice that everything worked out well in the end.

One of the things that the story pointed out was that love hurts, then we mope and cry and b!tch about it. Then we fall in love again and it feels like "this time", it's right. That this time, it won't hurt anymore. Pag in love ka, in love ka. You will risk it all. You will let your guard up. If you're the type who don't usually say "I like you" or "I love you" to your partner first (like in the beginning) ... ung super duper start of the relationship, then you're one of the people who guard your heart well. But when you let your guard down, that's when it will hurt like hell and then you'll wish you never trusted. Pero, love is like that. It will hurt, then it will feel great.

Kaya ako, sumali na ko sa group nila Jade n Gie, I think I have turned cynical. hahahaha. Well, maybe until I finish school. At this point, being cynical makes me focus sa school. Nde ako maiinlove, nde ako masasaktan ... no need to mope, more time for books. (nax, motto, haha.) Speaking of which, I bid thee goodbye, I'm gonna go back to studying!
