Exponentially Excited!!

Last Tuesday, I bought my plane ticket so I can go home December!! Woopee!! I'm soooo excited. 89 na tulog na lang!!!!!!

I was talking to my lil cuzin Gabby a few days ago. Sabi ko sa kanya, I miss isaw, barbeque, pandesal, etc ... sabi niya "Ate, kadiri. Wag yun. May germs yun." to which I replied "ok lang yun, mas masarap ang may germs." hahaha. But seriously ... I wanna eat dirty foods coz there's no dirty food here. Hmm ... I'll make a list of the stuff I want to eat, places I want to go to (may not necessarily mean I could go), stuff I want to buy, people I wanna see and things I wanna do

Stuff I want to eat: (I have a weird way of categorizing pero keber!)

• my family's cooking: mama's beef w/ mushroom, my mga lolas leche flan and papaitan, my lolo's beefsteak, my grandma's lengua (sad to say, i'll never have that anymore)

September, a stressful month

This has not been my month.

A few days ago, I fell down stairs. and instead of landing on my butt, my spine got the hit. It was probably 5-6 steps of pure spine catching fall. I went to the doctor yesterday. He said I'll probably still feel pain for the next 3 to 4 weeks or so. He recommended that I get an x-ray just ot make sure, so I did. Hmm, I didn't get a call from them yet, so I guess everything is OK. If it was that bad, they'd call me and say I'm gonna go veggie forever or something. haha. Morbid me. I'll just call them sometime during this week to check.

Yesterday, a call was transferred to me. This lady was looking for a supervisor, but my boss was going to a meeting at that time so the call was transferred to me. I said the usual spiel, being a friendly cheerful person. Then I heard her irate voice "Are you the supervisor?", to which I answered "The supervisor is at a meeting maam". Then she asked who I was, I said "I'm her assistant". She said "That's not good enough." At that time, my tone already changed into a professional one so she won't feel disrespected and she would get the message that I have authority at some level and I do know what I'm talking about. She was then being all grouchy and being a smart-ass coz she was saying how come the supervisor is not there anymore but the call was transferred to the supervisor. I said the moment that her call was being transferred, the supervisor was probably on her way out so it didn't go through. Then she was getting so mad, she was already asking for the name and number of my boss' boss ... who already left the company almost 2 or3 weeks ago. I told her that I unfortunately can't do that. In between those times, I told her that I could just take her name and number so the supervisor can call her. At the end of the call, she finally says that she'll just leave a message/voicemail for my boss, so I transferred her to my boss' mailbox. Later on, my boss came back from her meeting, she called the lady and then I asked my boss what happened. The lady told her that all the other issues were fine with her (regarding not paying the Ad she wanted to place, etc) but her main issue ... the one that pissed her off the most ... was ME!! (DUH!) She said I wasn't friendly and professional at all, and that I was giving her an attitude. If anything, I was too professional. I never give customers attitude coz I'm just not that type of person. I admit to not being friendly after hearing her voice coz she doesn't seem to be someone who can be softened by being friendly .. or at least not at that time. So anyway, she complained about me and even told my boss that I should be changed aka removed from that position. Grrr. She ruined that day further.

Now, my mom's laptop is all messed up. I'm currently talking to a tech support guy for HP. He's nice and it seems that he knows what he's saying but at the beginning of the call, it seemed like he doesn't listen too much. What happened was he asked me how I was at the beginning of the call ... which is fine coz that's usual rapport, BUT BUT BUT ... I said "not too good" .... and he responds "that's fantastic". I was thinking "what!?!?!" But it's OK ... I guess he's just used to hearing people say, "fine" or "ok" or "alright" so he's automatic response is "fantastic".

Anyway, my back still hurts. There are times I feel like my boss doesn't believe in me 100%, which is soooo not comforting. My job is stressful not so much coz of the workload, but more of the people making the workload a little bit harder than it should be. But, everything is all good. God won't give me all this stuff if He knows I can't handle it. So, yeah, I'll survive.
