i had a good weekend

Friday was great coz I was able to go to the gym. I spent some real quality time there (thanks to VH1 for keeping me company!) After which I went home to shower. When Keith got home, we went back out to eat at Zanaros, one of the best Italian food I've ever had. As usual, I had Meat Lasagna, he had the Penne Ala Vodka (dunno if I spelled this right) then we shared an order of Calamares & a pepperoni Pizza.

Saturday, laundry in the morning. Tas while the load is washing, I did French Tip on my nails to match my dress at night. So come that night, we went to the hall where Po and Mary's party was held. I wore this black tube dress with the shoes that I posted earlier. There was lots of food. I had fun dancing and chatting with Keith & Michelle. Here are some pix.

Sunday, I called my family when I woke up. Ang saya! I was able to talk to them again, hear their voices, it was great. hehe. We went to one of the best Chinese places to celebrate Father's day. Sarap! hehe. Shempre, nagtawag din ako sa mga kakilala ko to greet them happy father's day!

All in all, I'd say I had a great weekend.

it's a good day today

I thought the barbeque blowout thingy at work won't happen coz it's raining. But but but but ... they found a way to make it happen! They set-up the whole barbeque thing at the covered driveway at the entrance of the building. I thought it will just be food, drinks & ice cream, I was wrong. As soon as Rachel and I stepped out of the elevator, we saw a table w/ shirts and this white circle thing. When we got close, I realized that they were giving out free shirts and frisbees!! So of course we got one of each, then went in line for the food. I got a chicken kebab, rice, hotdog (w/ pickles, mustard, onion & ketchup) and to top it all off, I got oreo sandwich ice cream!! Awesome.

Then when I got back to my desk, Keith IM-ed me that he got the job he wanted!! So double awesome!! Yey!! Congratulations!! You deserve a great job coz you're a great guy!!! ¤=)

(A little backtrack) Marion told me this morning that she brought in a pair of shoes that she was giving away. She was gonna have April try it on then if April doesn't like it, I could try it, if I don't like it, Alison & Jackie will get a shot at it. So anyway ... back to now, after getting that fantastic news from Keith, Marion handed me the pair for me to try it on. So I did. I liked it. The dilemma then was whether it'll be ok to take it or not. She kept on saying, it would make her happy if I take it coz she'd know that it'll be put to good use by someone pretty (ahem ahem, ako un). Plus everyone was saying that it looked good on my feet. So, sige ... I accepted in. My dilemma now is ... ano susuutin ko with it?? Here's the pic ... give me suggestions!!

So yeah ... this is a great day!!! I love this day!! Paalala ... give me suggestions on what clothes would go good with this kasi mejo di ako magaling magpair ng stuff. They were saying ok sha with jeans and then blouse. But di ko alam. So help!

Opportunities

I feel sad. One of the people in my department will transfer to another department coz she was offered the opportunity to do so. Anyway, her name is Rachel and though we are not super mega close, I consider her as one of my friends here in the office. I will miss her. Kahit na super lapit lang ng lilipatan niya ... as in ... I'll be able to see her from my desk; mamimiss ko pa din sha.

Now, another friend (Marion) suggested na I apply for Rachel's place. There are pros and cons of it, so, I told my friend that I'll think about it. I'll be the coordinator of the department if I apply and get accepted. Hmm .. pagiisipan ko!

We have monthly revenue goals / stats that we have to achieve so we'll get a bonus. I almost made 2 of the categories ...

If I got those categories, I'd have $300!! But nooooo ... I didn't get it. (Shiet, pangticket na sana pa-Canada) So, I guess, I gotta work harder so I'll get it next month!
