Angels & Demons by Dan Brown (7/8 into the book)

Though Max Kohler is dead and almost all the evidence points out to him being the mastermind (aka Janus) ... something (to be specific, my paranoia) tells me that it's the Carmelengo who actually concocted the whole fiasco. Could it be the thirst for Papal power that drove him to do what he did?

Or could I just be out of my mind to think that the Pope’s chamberlain would actually kill the Pope and 4 “preferred pope-to-be”?

I’ll soon find out. hehehehe.
