Ano ba yan!

The article from Manila Bulletin made me sad (Link --> http://www.mb.com.ph/BSNS2007081199971.html).

Filipino businessmen plan to do more investments in Vietnam as opposed to investing in their own country. Nakakalungkot. According to Samie Lim, President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce, "Three years ago Vietnam was 15 years behind us but I think that by 2010 they are going to catch up with us and by 2010 they will overtake us." Despite the fact that in 3 years, maoovertake na tayo ng Vietnam, the businessmen will still invest there. They don't care about the Philippines, they care about their money. Based on the statement of Lim, the tourism industry of the Philippines is still better than Vietnam's as of now. Can't the government do something drastic to improve both the tourism industry and economy so that both Filipino and foreign businesspeople will continue to invest in the Philippines? Shempre, ano ba naman alam ko sa politics. It's just frustrating that the money they will put in the Vietnam economy can be used towards something in the Philippines. Not only will it help the Philippines by supplying more jobs, but it will also give Filipinos the confidence and hope that we will continue to live on ... lalakas pa tayo ... na bubuti pa ang economy ... na kaya natin harapin kahit anong pagsubok ang dumating. With that said, I leave you with Noypi by Bamboo ... tumatayo balahibo ko with this song, asteeg talaga. I love the song!
