"SIGNS ARE INTERPRETED TO SUIT THE PERSON'S NEED"

For example:

• If a girl likes a guy but doesn't know whether the guy likes her or not ... then the guy holds the elevator for her; she could interpret that as "He likes me! He's being very nice to me!" In reality, the guy was just being a gentleman.
• A guy is trying to figure out whether his relationship should come to an end. When he meets up with his girlfriend, the girl acts all moody, cranky and just kept on bitching over and over. He sees this as the sign to break-up because he thinks she doesn't want to be with him anymore. What actually happened might be she got her monthly period and it's just the hormones.

Basically, do not over interpret things. Don't jump to conclusions. We have a tendency to see things the way our mind wants to ... not necessarily the way it should be seen. Sabi nga dun sa pic sa previous post ko, "Perspective is Everything" kaya ... be careful of how you react to certain things.
