my not so usual saturday

well ... my saturday was ... well, sorta different than before. why was it different? coz for the past couple of weeks, i'm spending saturdays at home by myself. anyway, we went to the gym in the morning then stopped by some stores. i saw this absolutely cute stuff toy ... which was like $35 so i just placed it back on the rack. haha. we stopped by wendys to buy lunch then went back home. we both (sorta) did laundry. but, unfortunately i'm sleepy now so i'll just continue the rest of it when i wake up.

oh yeah, i watched this thai movie "ong bak" ... it was good. according to the trailer, there were no stunt doubles and no computer effects/graphics. so ... wow. i like the story then the fight scenes brought the story to life. amazing, i have so much respect for muay thai (forgive me if i got it wrong) now. it's like the fighters are so flexible yet strong & solid. it seems like there's so much discipline entailed in that martial art, yet ... it somehow appeared effortless for "ting" (the main character) to do the stunts/fight scenes ... eventhough i am sooooo sure that is so hard. he made it look that he's not exerting effort.

oh well. anyway, i wish i could go back to pinas soon. i need to see my grandma. by the way people, other than my grandma, there's another person i'm worrying about ... marc. he was admitted to the hospital a couple of days ago coz he got operated for appendicitis. it would've been "routinary" (sort of) but he has hemophilia (blood doesn't clot normally) which complicated the whole thing. he was brought to another hospital last friday coz he was losing too much blood and needed blood transfusion. so ... guys, pray for my grandma & marc. thanks.
