at & t relay call

it was my first time to get this kind of call. the lady on the other line asked for my name and at first i was hesitant coz it sounded really weird. then, the "operator" explained to me that she has a customer on the other line who has a hard time either hearing or speaking so they use this at&t service. the customer types and the operator reads it to me. then i reply to the operator then she types it so the customer can read it on the other end. so ... whatever i say to the customer gets typed up. the funny thing about this is even the customer's complains get to me (with feelings if i may add).

is it so obvious that i'm new in this country?? haha. i'm amused by this thing.
