2005 ... year of crazy relationships and love??

i've been talking to a lot of people ... why is it that everyone now seems to have a love situation? and to quote my friend ... "love talaga...hahaha...2005 is not really a good year for lovers" is it really not a good year?? hmm ... lemme recount what happened to my friends ...

one has a great boyfriend with something lacking (well, shempre, no one is perfect) ... and a number 2 who treats her so differently. makes her feel more important than the current girlfriend of the guy (yeah ... tama ang analysis mo ... they are both number two's of each other) they are sorta good influences to each other especially when it comes to work. they wanna be together, but a lot of factors are holding them back.

another friend..she's been with her boyfriend for like 6 years already ... but all throughout those years ... she has "boylets". now, she has a number 2. she says she doesn't feel as strong for number 1. but with number 2, it's passionate and all.

just a few months ago, a friend broke up with his girlfriend. after so many weeks of sulking himself in sorrow ... he told us that he's moving on. then recently confessed that he is still hoping for him and his ex to get back together. right now, another friend is getting paranoid because his girlfriend isn't telling him where she is, who she's with, ya know ... the works. he asks the girl about something and the girl answers with a "sorry if i'm not an okay girlfriend, it's up to you now, you decide what's gonna happen to us" ... what the hell!! i told my friend that if the girl is like that ... he should just let go since the girl doesn't even care about them. plus, if the other person is not exerting any effort to make the relationship work or not even showing that he/she wants to hold on to the relationship ... he/she isn't worth it.

as for me, i'm in a long distance relationship. first time in this situation. i don't know how it'll end. but i hope happily of course! i have to fight the paranoia, he has to fend off girls. we need to be open and honest to each other. communication galore is soooo needed!! trust is a vital key!!

anyways ... a lot of people are undergoing tough times when it comes to love and relationships. but whatever happens ... you will always be incharge of how you react to the situation. easier said than done ... i know. but the goodness or badness of the year is totally up to the person on how he/she sees and reacts to the situations and people surrounding him/her.
