microbio lab

tonight, we collected "sample" from the "environment" aka anything and everything sa school. what we did was collect 4 samples from the environment and 2 from us. the whole idea (ata) of the experiment is to sort of identify the areas na maraming bacteria.

the four environmental sample i chose were from:

• toilet flusher/handle - most likely this will have lots of bacteria coz inaapakan toh
  
• door knob/handle inside the bathroom (the one used to go out) - this will show if people really wash their hands before leaving the bathroom
  
• ung spray na cleaner (ung handle) - how clean are the cleaning products we use?
  
• elevator button - proof na katamaran ... hahahaha
  

the two that was from "human sample", the prof designated certain areas already. sabi niya nose and throat. those who have a bad gag reflex and can't make the swab go to the back ng throat can just take sample from the tongue or under the tongue. second sa nostril area, but not all the way inside the nose.

so next week, i shall update the blog on which had the most bacteria and the least, etc.
